Directions

  1. Grease the oven dish and coat the bottom with parchment paper.
  2. Bring all the ingredients in a pan with a thick bottom to the boil and simmer for about 20 minutes.
  3. Drop a drop of the mixture into a bowl of ice cold water. If you can then knead this drop into a ball, the fudge is good. Cook something else longer.
  4. Allow the mixture to cool for a few minutes and stir or whisk until it is just as thick as peanut butter.
  5. Divide the fudge mixture over the baking tin.
  6. Allow to cool down and dry for about 4 hours until the fudge becomes firm.
  7. Cut into strips and then into cubes.
