Bring the sugar and the water to a boil in a small pan and let it cool down. Cool the dissolved sugar, wine, liqueur and brandy in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

In a large bowl, stir together the dissolved sugar, wine, liqueur, brandy, lemon juice and lime juice.

Cut the lemon, lime and orange into slices, add them together with the ice cubes. Serve the sangria in ball glasses or small lemonade glasses.
