Sauerkraut burger with fried onion and gruyere


Beefburgers with apple, sauerkraut, arugula and fried onions on a baker's ball with grated cheese.

Directions

  1. Brush the burgers with the oil. Heat the grill pan without oil or butter and grill the burgers in 15 min. Golden brown and done. Turn halfway.
  2. Meanwhile, clean the apple, cut it into parts and remove the core. Cut the flesh into thin strips (julienne). Mix with the sauerkraut and vinaigrette.
  3. Cut the buns open and brush the bottom halves with the horseradish.
  4. Divide the arugula over it, put a burger on each bun and divide half of the sauerkraut over it.
  5. Sprinkle with the fried onions and gruyere and lay the top bun halves on them. Serve the rest of the sauerkraut salad.
