Preheat the oven to 225 ºC or gas oven setting. 5. Defrost the slices of puff pastry. Divide the broccoli into smaller florets, boil for about 3 minutes, rinse with cold water and drain.

Cut the strips into pieces. Beat the eggs, stir in the cream and cheese. Season with pepper and salt. Grease the cake tin, coated with puff pastry. Pierce holes with a fork.

Divide smac, broccoli and egg mixture successively. Bake the cake in the middle of the oven in approx. 40 minutes until tender and light brown. Remove the roots and grate coarsely. Scoop the dressing through the roots. Serve the cake with carrot salad.
