Sesame stalks with mackerel dip


A tasty Dutch recipe. The snack contains the following ingredients: fish, puff pastry ((frozen, 10 slices), thawed), flour, sea salt (freshly ground), sesame seeds, ground chilli flakes, smoked mackerel (cooling) and sour cream.

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
  2. Place the slices of puff pastry on a floured countertop.
  3. Sprinkle with freshly ground sea salt, pepper, chilli flakes and sesame seeds.
  4. Roll out the slices a bit further with the rolling pin.
  5. Cut each slice into strips of about 3 cm wide.
  6. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
  7. Grab each bar of puff pastry at the ends and turn it a few times in the opposite direction, so that you get a curled stem.
  8. Place the stalks on the baking sheet and fry until golden brown and crispy for 8-10 minutes.
  9. Prepare the mackerel with a fork and mix in the sour cream.
  10. Season with salt and (freshly ground) pepper.
  11. Serve the sesame stalks with the mackerel dip..
