Simple waldorf salad


Classic salad of walnuts, mayonnaise, lime, celery and apple. Perfect for a dinner with friends or family.

Directions

  1. Roast the walnuts in a dry frying pan. Leave on a plate to cool and break in half. Squeeze the lime. In a bowl, stir up the mayonnaise with lime juice. Add water if the sauce remains too thick.
  2. Season with pepper and salt.
  3. Clean the celery and keep the green apart. Cut the stalks into thin slices. Wash the apples, cut into quarters and remove the core. Cut the apples into pieces. Spoon the celery, apple and walnuts into the mayonnaise.
  4. Divide the salad over four glass coupes or dishes. Garnish with the celery green.
