Directions

  1. Let the filo pastry thaw in 2 hours. Thaw the spinach in the microwave. Drain in a sieve and press out the moisture with a spoon.
  2. Preheat the oven to 250 ° C.
  3. Chop the onion. Heat the butter in a pan and fry the onion. Add the spinach and season with the honey, pepper and salt.
  4. Mix in the raisins. Put the spinach in a sieve again and press out the moisture. Melt the butter.
  5. Carefully unfold the filo pastry and place on a work surface under a damp tea towel.
  6. Brush the top sheet of filo pastry with butter and folded double with the buttered side inwards.
  7. Take the sheet off the stack. Place a large piece of spinach on the right side of the dough.
  8. Fold the upper right corner diagonally down over the spinach. Brush the top thinly with butter.
  9. Fold the dough into a triangular envelope 2 more times, brush the top with butter each time.
  10. Prepare the rest of the triangles in the same way. Place the triangles on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper and slide in the middle of the oven.
  11. After 5 minutes, lower the oven temperature to 200 ° C and bake the filo pastry brown in about 20 minutes.
