Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ºC or to gas temperature 4.
  2. Let the puff pastry thaw. Peel the apples, halve and remove the core.
  3. Divide the butter into flakes over the bottom of the dish. Sprinkle the sugar over the butter. Place the apples with the convex side down.
  4. Place the dish on the heat and let the sugar caramelize in approx. 10 minutes (brown colors).
  5. Dust the kitchen counter with flour. Lay the dough slices together and roll out into a round piece.
  6. Place the dough on the apples, cut away the overhanging dough. Push the dough in slightly.
  7. Fry the cake in the middle of oven for about 20 minutes until done.
  8. Put a plate on the plate, turn it together (watch out for the hot caramel!) And let the cake slide on the plate. Serve warm.
