Walnut plum cakes


A tasty recipe. The vegetarian dessert contains the following ingredients: peeled walnuts, vegtable prunes (about 10 pieces), soft butter (unsalted), light brown sugar, egg, vanilla sugar, flour, baking powder and salt.

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 ºC.
  2. Walnuts chop coarsely, cut prunes into small pieces.
  3. Mix in creamy butter and caster sugar with mixer.
  4. Stir in egg and vanilla sugar.
  5. Mix flour, baking powder and salt.
  6. Pile walnuts and prunes through them and leave the dough to set in a refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
  7. Divide dough into 8 portions and sprinkle balls with floured hands.
  8. Place dough balls at a considerable distance from each other on 1 or 2 baking sheets lined with parchment paper (the cakes are 3-4 cm larger during baking).
  9. Spread the dough with palm to circles of approx.
  10. 8 cm.
  11. Bake light brown in approx.
  12. 15 minutes.
  13. Remove the baking tray from the oven, let the cakes cool down for a few minutes and stiffen.
  14. Carefully place cakes with a palette knife on the grid and allow to cool down further..
