Apple balls


A tasty recipe. The vegetarian dessert contains the following ingredients: puff pastry (frozen), hand apples, raisins, lemon zest (pot), cinnamon powder, brown caster sugar and flour.

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ºC or gas oven 4. Sprinkle the slices of puff pastry over the counter and let them thaw in about 5 minutes. Peel the apples and remove the clock houses with an apple drill.
  2. Spoon the raisins, lemon zest, cinnamon and 1/2 tbsp sugar.
  3. Sprinkle some flour on the counter. Roll the slices of puff pastry slightly larger (15 by 15 cm) using a rolling pin. Put the apples in the middle of the slices. Fill the hole of the apples with the raisin mixture. Coat some water on the edges of the puff pastry with the brush. Fold the dots together and stick them on top of each apple. Spread the dough with some water and sprinkle 1 tablespoon of caster sugar on the apples.
  4. Place the parchment paper on the baking sheet and place the apples on it. Place the baking sheet in the middle of the oven and bake the apple balls in about 25 minutes until tender and a little brown.
