Apple sauce
Classic apple sauce of only 4 ingredients: apple, cinnamon, sugar and lemon.

Peel the apples, cut each in 4 parts and remove the core.

Cut the parts into small pieces. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze out 1 lemon half (per 4 people).

Put the apple pieces together with the water, 1 tbsp lemon juice (per 4 persons), the sugar and cinnamon in a large pan and bring to a boil.

Turn the heat down, place the lid diagonally on the pan and simmer for 15 minutes. Stir occasionally. Turn off the heat and allow to cool.
