Roasted tomato salsa
A tasty Spanish recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: tomatoes (box 750 g), red peppers, onion (in parts), garlic (peeled), basil ((15 g), chopped), sugar and lime juice.

Light the barbecue. Put the tomatoes on the grill topper or in the grill bowl and grill 12 min. Add the peppers and onion halfway and grill for 5 minutes until the skins of the tomatoes and peppers curl and the vegetables around grill spots. Remove any seed lists from the pepper for a less sharp taste.

Puree the peppers, onion and garlic in the food processor. Add tomatoes and puree the whole into a coarse sauce. Put the salsa in a bowl. Stir in the basil and add the sugar, juice, pepper and salt. Serve the salsa warm or at room temperature. Tasty with tortilla chips.
