Bold and beefy bbq sauce
Sauce of black peppercorns, apple cider vinegar, cola, espresso, soy sauce, tabasco, ketchup and cornstarch.

Ingredients
- 3 el black pepper grain
- 50 ml apple cider vinegar
- 100 ml cola
- 100 ml espresso
- 100 ml soy sauce
- 200 ml worcestershiresauce
- 3 el Brown sugar
- 3 el Apple syrup
- 1 el Tabasco
- 3 el beef rub see recipe elsewhere on the website
- 3 el balsamic glaze
- 2 el cornstarch
- 4 el water
- 500 ml Ketchup
- 1 tl cocoa powder
- 2 el liquid honey
Kitchen Stuff
Directions

Mash the peppercorns coarsely in the mortar.

Heat in a pan the apple cider vinegar, cola, espresso, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, syrup, tabasco, smokey's beef-rub and balsamic glaze.

Bring to boil.

Dissolve the cornstarch in a separate bowl in the water and add to the sauce. Bring the sauce back to the boil.

Finally, add the ketchup, black pepper, cocoa and honey.

Heat while stirring until boiling and remove from heat. Allow the sauce to cool completely.

Store in a sealed bottle for up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
