Mix the artichoke slices with half a bunch of crushed basil and 2 finely chopped spring / bunch onions. Season with olive oil and pepper.

Spread 4 slices of bread generously with ham and spread some artichoke salad over it. Cover with another sandwich and cut diagonally.
