Peel the asparagus all around with a peeler from just below the cup and remove the woody bottom.

Wash the potatoes and boil them in a pan with water and a little salt in about 15 minutes until done.

In the meantime, cook the asparagus in a (asparagus) pan with water and salt in 8-10 minutes until al dente.

Boil the eggs in another pan in approx. 8 minutes. Melt the butter on a low heat.

Drain the asparagus and potatoes and place in trays. Peel and halve the eggs and place in another bowl.

Slice the chives and mix through the butter gravy. Serve the butter gravy, ham and nutmeg with the asparagus, potatoes and eggs.

Make the potatoes, eggs and ham on the plate and make with the butter gravy and nutmeg.
