Heat the apricot jam without cooking in a pan (or in the microwave, without a lid at 400 Watt for 2 minutes).

Mix the jam with the soy sauce, oil, garlic and ginger root.

Roll up the bacon pieces and thread them on the sticks. (Soak the wooden sticks briefly in water to prevent burning while roasting.).

Polish the bacon slices with the apricot glaze. Roast them for 5-6 minutes on a hot barbecue and occasionally turn them over.
