Baguette ox sausage with piccalilly


Delicious for lunch: a baguette with piccalilli, short fried sausage, candy cucumber and some lamb's lettuce.

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C and bake the baguette according to the instructions on the package.
  2. In the meantime, cut the cucumbers into slanted slices. Cut the beef sausage into slices: 4 per person.
  3. Spread the beef sausage slices on both sides with the oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  4. Bake in a frying pan without oil or butter 30 sec. on high heat. Turn halfway.
  5. Cut the baguette in half lengthwise. Spread both halves with the piccalilly.
  6. Cover the bottom half successively with the lamb's lettuce, beef sausage slices and cucumber.
  7. Put the top half of the bread on and press lightly. Halve the whole baguette and serve immediately.
