Bake the baguettes according to the instructions on the package. Let them cool slightly outside the oven and cut slanting notches on the tops for the filling.

Puree the dried tomatoes with the garlic, the basil, the tomato paste, Parmesan cheese and the old cheese.

Brush the notches of the baguettes with this mixture and press in raw ham.
