Cut the tomatoes into slices. Cut the baguettes into slices of 2 cm thick up to 1 cm from the bottom. Brush the notches generously with herb butter. Push a slice of tomato into each notch and sprinkle with thyme.

Wrap each loaf in aluminum foil and fry them on the barbecue for 8-10 minutes. Turn the bread regularly so that the loaves are browned evenly.
