Prick around the holes in the potatoes with a fork. Wrap the potatoes in the microwave foil and puff them for 10 minutes at full power (700 watts) in the microwave. Leave them for 5 minutes in the microwave to cook.

Remove the foil and cut the hot potatoes in half lengthwise. Distribute the cheese directly over the halves and let the cheese melt. Sprinkle with pepper. Serve immediately. Tasty with chopped chives.
