Directions

  1. Peel the bananas and cut them into slices. Place the slices of banana on a plate covered with parchment paper and let them freeze in the freezer in 2-3 hours.
  2. Meanwhile, peel the orange thick and cut the wedges between the fleece. Catch the juice that flows from the orange in a bowl. Let the orange slices drain on kitchen paper.
  3. Make the ice cream just before serving: Transfer the frozen slices of banana to the blender and add the maple syrup, buttermilk and the orange juice. Purée everything on the highest level until a smooth ice cream.
  4. Put the banana ice cream in glasses and spread the orange slices over it.
