Cut the apple quarters into pieces. Bring the apple pieces with 150 ml of water, the sugar and cinnamon on a medium-high boil and stirring occasionally over the bottom of the pan.

Cook the apples with the lid on the pan completely soft in about 30 minutes.

Season to taste with extra sugar or a few drops of lemon juice.
