First pour the wine vinegar and then the olive oil through a funnel in the bottle.

Add the mustard with the salt and pepper.

Close the bottle and shake well until the vinegar and olive oil are mixed into a nicely bonded dressing.

You can also whisk the ingredients in a bowl with a whisk into a dressing and then pour into the bottle.
