Bean salad with tuna and almonds

A tasty recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: fish, almonds (unpeeled (a 100 g)), red onions (chopped), orange (squeezed), extra virgin olive oil, green kidney beans (400 g), green beans (cleaned), olive oil tuna ( (a 135 g), drained), mayonnaise, basil ((15 g) and only the leaves).

Directions

  1. Roast the almonds in a frying pan without oil or butter in approx. 5 min. Until crispy. Let cool on a plate. Chop the almonds coarsely.
  2. Marinate the onion for 5 minutes in the orange juice. Add the oil and season with salt and pepper. Rinse the kidney beans under cold water and let it drain. Scoop through the dressing.
  3. Halve the string beans and cut the halves into strips. Boil in water with salt in approx. 4 minutes until al dente. Mix them warm with the kidney beans.
  4. Puree the tuna with the mayonnaise, 4 tbsp water and salt and pepper. Divide the salad over 4 plates, spoon over the tuna mayonnaise and sprinkle with the almonds. Tear the basil into pieces and spread over the salad.
