Blackberry jam
A tasty Dutch recipe. The vegetarian breakfast contains the following ingredients: apples (eg Elstars), frozen blackberries and jelly sugar (special).

Peel the apples and cut into four pieces. Cut out the cores. Cut 6 pieces of apple into small pieces. Make the other 6 pieces of apple small with the large holes of a grater.

Put the apple pieces, the apple grater and the blackberries in a large pan. Add the jelly sugar and stir everything together.

Place the pan over medium heat and stir until the jam starts to bubble. Let the jam cook for 1 minute.

Put on oven mitts and remove the pan from the heat. And put the pan on a trivet. Wait about 5 minutes and then stir one more time through the jam.

Place the glass storage jars on the tea towel. Fill them all the way up with the jam. Note, the jam is very hot! Put the lids on and put the pots upside down. The little bit of air that is still in the pots goes through the whole jam and you can keep the jam for a long time.

Then you let the jam completely cold. Then you place a label on the pots with the date and 'blackberry jam' on it. Or your name! .
