Borscht with vodka carrots
A tasty recipe. The starter contains the following ingredients: poultry, cooked beet ((500 g), grated), sugar, ginger powder, balsamic vinegar, dijon mustard, chicken broth (from tablet), sour cream (125 ml) and vodka (liquorice).

Put the grated beetroot with sugar, ginger powder, vinegar and mustard in a bowl and let the flavors interact for at least 30 minutes.

Put the mixture in a pan, add the chicken broth, mix well and bring to the boil.

Turn down the heat and let the beets simmer for another 5 minutes.

Puree with a hand blender and season with salt and pepper.

Stir in the sour cream with the vodka and generously with (freshly ground) black pepper.

Divide the soup into deep bowls and spoon a spoonful of wodka cream in each bowl.

Tasty with rye bread or toasted brown bread and a glass of ice-cold vodka.

As a garnish you can put a potato chip in the borscht..
