Braised green beans with ginger and sweet soy sauce

Blanch the green beans for 2 minutes in plenty of boiling water with salt and drain. Rinse them under cold water to stop the cooking process.

Heat the oil and fry the onion for about 3 minutes.

Add the ginger and garlic and fruit for another 2 minutes.

Add the beans and stir fry for about 5 minutes at a low setting.

Optionally add the sambal and the ketjapmarinadeet 4 tablespoons of water. Bring to the boil and let the beans become al dente on a low setting.

Delicious with crispy fried bacon steaks or chicken fillet.
