Braised tomatoes with ginger
A tasty recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: vine tomatoes, fresh ginger root (about 2 cm), garlic, (stir fry) oil, medium sherry and sweet soy sauce.

Wash, clean and halve tomatoes.

Peel the ginger thinly and cut into thin strips with a sharp knife.

Slice garlic and cut into thin slices.

Heat oil in large (frying) pan.

Chop tomatoes down gently for approx.
-
3 minutes.

Turn tomatoes and add ginger and garlic.
-
Bake for another 4 minutes.
-
Stir in Sherry and soy marinade, and briefly heat.

Tasty with oriental meat dishes and rice..
