Heat the sauerkraut in a pan over medium heat for 5 minutes. Drain in a colander. Put the bacon in the pan for the last 3 minutes. Do not cut the pistolets completely in half and cover the halves generously with mustard. Cover with 2 slices of bacon, the hot sauerkraut and a sausage.
