Bratwurst with garden pea puree
A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, crumbly potatoes (peeled), butter, sausages, mushrooms ((250 g), in quarters), garden peas (extra fine (450 g, frozen)), milk, ground old cheese (48 ( 175 g)) and nutmeg.

Boil the potatoes in water with salt in 20 minutes until done.

In the meantime, heat 25 g of butter in a frying pan and fry the sausages in brown in 5 min. Add the mushrooms and cook for 3 minutes. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes.

Drain the potatoes and let the steam burn off in the pan with the lid on. Cook the garden peas 3 min.

In the meantime, heat the milk in a saucepan over low heat. Add to the potatoes together with the rest of the butter and puree with the puree mash. Mix in the cheese and season with nutmeg, pepper and salt.

Stir the peas through the cheese puree. Serve with the sausages and mushrooms.
