                                Bake the bacon cubes on a low setting and add the onion. Bake for a few minutes until everything is crispy.

                                Spoon the bacon and onion on a chopping board, let it cool down and chop finer.

                                Mix the minced meat with the meatballs, the egg, the bacon mixture and enough breadcrumbs to make the mince creamy. Roll 8 balls of them, press them a little flatter and let them stiffen in the fridge.

                                Roll the meatballs through the remaining breadcrumbs and shake out excess breadcrumbs. Heat the oil with the butter and fry the balls around. Keep turning the balls in the pan and fry them for about 10 minutes.
