Brioches with raisins, nuts and chocolate

Pour the dough onto a floured work surface. Knead and pull the dough apart for a few minutes.

Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll balls of it. Put a ball of dough in each muffin cup. Put them together and put a large bowl over them. Let it rise for another hour.

Preheat the oven to 180ºC.

Beat the remaining egg and brush the top of the dough with it. Fry the brioches in the oven for about 25 minutes until tender and golden yellow.

Take them out of the oven and let cool to lukewarm. Dust them before serving with icing sugar.
