Directions

  1. Peel the oranges thick and cut the segments between the membranes.
  2. In doing so, catch the juice that runs out in a bowl.
  3. Cut the fresh mint into thin strips.
  4. Stir in a bowl four tablespoons of orange juice with the honey and fresh mint into a dressing.
  5. Spoon the orange slices through.
  6. Let the compote stand for half an hour.
  7. Stir in a wide measuring cup or mix the small pancake mix with the vanilla sugar, milk and egg into a smooth batter.
  8. Heat a small pancake pan over medium high heat and brush the holes with a little oil.
  9. Pour the batter with a measuring cup or soup spoon into the holes and bake until the top is almost dry.
  10. Turn the small pancakes with a fork and bake the other side brown.
  11. Continue to bake small pancakes until the batter is empty.
  12. Divide the warm little pancakes over plates.
  13. Create a roll of rolling ice cream and serve the orange compote next to it.
