Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.

Draw a heart of about 25 cm high and 20 cm wide on a piece of cardboard and cut out. Line the baking sheet with baking paper.

Grate the yellow skin of the lemon.

Split the eggs and beat the egg yolks in a bowl with the milk. Knead half of the egg mixture with the almond paste and the lemon zest.

Pile 5 slices of puff pastry together and roll out on a floured sheet to a piece of 26 cm. Repeat with the rest of the puff pastry.

Place the cardboard heart on a dough piece and cut it out with a sharp knife. Make another heart. Put 1 heart on the baking sheet.

Divide the almond paste on the dough, but leave an edge of approx. 2 cm around.

Brush the dough around some egg mixture. Put the second heart on it and press the edges well. Brush the heart with the rest of the egg mixture.
