Preheat the oven to 150 ° C. Rub the chicken legs with coarse salt and pepper and put them in a roasting pan.

Remove the garlic cloves from the bulb, but do not peel them. Put the garlic cloves, rosemary and bay leaf in between the chicken and pour the olive oil over it.

Put the roasting pan uncovered in the oven and let the chicken be cooked in over 2 hours.

Turn on the oven grill when the chicken is done. Scoop the chicken legs out of the oil and lay them with the skin upwards on a baking tray. Put them under the grill for a few minutes.
