Caramelized pineapple with ginger ice cream
A tasty recipe. The vegetarian dessert contains the following ingredients: vanilla ice cream, stem ginger (pot a 240 g), ginger syrup (from jar of voice ginger), dark caster sugar, Chinese five spice powder (or ginger powder), pineapple and unsalted butter.

(up to 1 day before): Let the ice cream slightly soften at room temperature. Ginger gingerballs. Mix chopped ginger and ginger syrup with ice. Put ice back in freezer and allow it to freeze again for at least 1 hour.

In bowl, mix caster sugar with five spice powder. Peel the pineapple and cut in quarters lengthwise. Cut out the hard core and cut three quarters lengthwise. Melt butter in frying pan with non-stick coating. Put in pineapple strips, sprinkle with caster sugar. Pineapple for 2-3 min. And if necessary, turn until sugar is syrupy and pineapple is golden brown and warm. Remove ice from freezer. Divide pineapple strips over four dessert plates and with ice scoop, create curls of ginger ice on top.
