Carrot-spinach stew with pepper steak
A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, large potatoes ((3 kg bag), peeled and chopped), winter carrot ((1 kg bag), sliced), spinach (finely chopped (a 450 g, frozen)), oil, pepper steaks (a 200 g), onion (in half rings), coarse mustard and sour cream (125 ml).

Bring 400 ml of water to the boil and boil the potatoes and the winter carrot with the lid on the pan and over low heat for about 20 minutes. Prepare the spinach according to the instructions on the packaging.

Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the pepper steaks 4 min. Per side. Remove from the pan and keep warm under aluminum foil. Fry the onion golden brown in the shortening. Add the mustard and 200 ml of water and bring to the boil.

Add the spinach and the sour cream to the potatoes and winter carrots and puree to puree. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with the pepper steaks and onion gravy.
