Carrots with fresh ginger


A tasty recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: carrots, butter, liquid honey, fresh ginger root (peeled and grated) and sesame (roasted).

Directions

  1. Bring a large pot of water to the boil.
  2. Remove the carrots and cut them into pieces of four centimeters.
  3. Boil the carrots for 4 minutes in plenty of boiling water with a little salt al dente.
  4. Drain them in a colander and rinse them with cold water.
  5. Heat the butter in a large frying pan and add the carrots, honey and ginger root.
  6. Fry the carrots for 2 minutes.
  7. Add salt and (freshly ground) pepper to taste and sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
  8. Delicious with fried fish..
