Carrots with fresh ginger
A tasty recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: carrots, butter, liquid honey, fresh ginger root (peeled and grated) and sesame (roasted).

Bring a large pot of water to the boil.

Remove the carrots and cut them into pieces of four centimeters.

Boil the carrots for 4 minutes in plenty of boiling water with a little salt al dente.

Drain them in a colander and rinse them with cold water.

Heat the butter in a large frying pan and add the carrots, honey and ginger root.

Fry the carrots for 2 minutes.
-
Add salt and (freshly ground) pepper to taste and sprinkle with the sesame seeds.

Delicious with fried fish..
