Celeriac with old cheese and truffle oil


A tasty Dutch recipe. The side dish contains the following ingredients: celeriac (800-900 g), mascarpone (soft cream cheese), old cheese (grated) and olive oil with truffle flavor.

Directions

  1. Cut the celeriac into thick slices. Peel the slices, cut them into pieces and wash them. Boil the pieces of celeriac in water with salt in approx. 12 min. Until done. Pour the vegetables well.
  2. Stamp the celeriac with the puree pestle into a coarse puree with pieces. Mix the mascarpone, the cheese, the truffle oil and pepper to taste through the puree. Delicious with braised beef and game.
