Directions

  1. Slice the garlic and cut the red onion into half rings. Heat the butter in a frying pan and fry the garlic for 1 min.
  2. Add the onion and sugar and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes until the onion is caramelised. Change regularly.
  3. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 200 ºC and mix the cheddar with the crème fraîche.
  4. Line the baking dish with 4 slices of puff pastry. Press the edges well. Prick holes in the soil with a fork.
  5. Divide the onion over the bottom of the dish. Scoop the cheese mixture and crumble the Blue Stilton over it.
  6. Put 4 slices of puff pastry together and roll out with the rolling pin into a rectangular piece.
  7. Cover the dish with the puff pastry and press the edges with a fork. Make 4 notches with a knife, beat the egg and brush with the egg.
  8. Bake for about 25 minutes in the oven. Remove from the oven and serve. Yummy! .
