Sprinkle the flour on a plate. Beat the egg in a deep plate and sprinkle breadcrumbs on another plate.

First take the pieces of cheese through the flour, then through the egg and then through the breadcrumbs.

Baste satéprikkers or skewers alternately a piece of red pepper, a sage and a piece of cheese.

Heat the peanut or sunflower oil in a frying pan and fry the skewers in 5 minutes until golden brown. Let them drain on kitchen paper.

Sprinkle them before serving with some paprika powder.
