Chicken drumsticks on tomato rice
A tasty recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: poultry, white rice, chicken drumsticks, olive oil, honey, red pepper (diced), tomatoes (diced) and fresh basil (finely chopped).

Boil the rice according to the instructions on the package.

Drain the rice and drain well.

Dab the chicken drumsticks dry with kitchen paper and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.

Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a frying pan and fry the chicken drumsticks (possibly in 2 portions) around brown.

Pour 100 ml of water into the pan and add the honey.

Bring to the boil and simmer the chicken drumsticks with the lid diagonally on the pan for about 25 minutes.

Turn the chicken drumsticks occasionally.

Heat the remaining 2 tbsp olive oil in a frying pan and fry the pepper for 5 minutes.

Bake the diced tomatoes for 2 minutes.

Spoon the rice through the vegetables and warm it for 1 minute, season well with the basil, salt and pepper.

Divide the tomato rice over 4 plates and put the chicken drumsticks on it..
