Chicken leg in bokbier


A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: poultry, celery (herbs), butter or margarine, chicken legs (approx. 300 g), salt, pepper, bokbier, yellow pepper, corn granules (300 g), whipped cream and hot curry powder.

Directions

  1. Cut celery twigs.
  2. Fry 40 g of butter in frying pan.
  3. Sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper and brown all around.
  4. Add beer and the bottom half of celery sticks.
  5. Chicken simmered for approx.
  6. 40 minutes, simmer once in a while.
  7. Meanwhile, pepper, clean and cut into blocks.
  8. Drain corn.
  9. Heat in the rest of butter.
  10. Pepper bake for approx.
  11. 2 minutes.
  12. Stir in the corn, whipped cream and curry powder and simmer for approx.
  13. 15 minutes.
  14. Spread over two plates of pepper mixture and place chicken on top.
  15. Give a few tablespoons of simmer liquid over chicken.
  16. Garnish with top halves of celery.
  17. Serve with baked potatoes..
