Chicken leg in bokbier
A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: poultry, celery (herbs), butter or margarine, chicken legs (approx. 300 g), salt, pepper, bokbier, yellow pepper, corn granules (300 g), whipped cream and hot curry powder.

Cut celery twigs.

Fry 40 g of butter in frying pan.

Sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper and brown all around.

Add beer and the bottom half of celery sticks.

Chicken simmered for approx.
-
40 minutes, simmer once in a while.

Meanwhile, pepper, clean and cut into blocks.

Drain corn.
-
Heat in the rest of butter.
-
Pepper bake for approx.
-
2 minutes.
-
Stir in the corn, whipped cream and curry powder and simmer for approx.
-
15 minutes.
-
Spread over two plates of pepper mixture and place chicken on top.
-
Give a few tablespoons of simmer liquid over chicken.

Garnish with top halves of celery.

Serve with baked potatoes..
