Chicken-mushroom ragout with rice


Ragout with mushrooms, smoked chicken and white wild rice.

Directions

  1. Boil the rice according to the instructions on the package.
  2. Remove the stalk and the tip of the green beans. Cook for 8 minutes until al dente.
  3. Clean the mushrooms with kitchen paper and cut into slices.
  4. Cut the chicken into strips and finely chop the chives.
  5. Heat the butter in a pan and fry the mushrooms for 3 minutes. Sprinkle the flour over it and heat for 2 minutes while stirring.
  6. Mix the stock with the water and pour for a dash on the mushroom mixture, stir well until a bound sauce is formed.
  7. Add the chicken and season the ragout with salt and pepper.
  8. Sprinkle the dish with the chives and serve with the rice and green beans.
