Remove the crowns from the strawberries. Drizzle the strawberries with the balsamic vinegar or grind them with pepper.

Mix the mayonnaise with the basil, salt and pepper.

Brush the bread with basil mayonnaise. Divide the chicken fillet and strawberries over two slices of bread, lay the onion rings on top and cover with the other two slices.

If necessary, stick the sandwich with a stick.
