Cut the chicken meat into equal pieces. Heat the olive oil and fry the chicken for 6-7 minutes.

Add the garlic, ginger, cumin, cinnamon, coriander, salt and pepper and cook for 2-3 minutes. Pour in the chicken stock and cover for about 20 minutes.

Add the apricots and prunes and cook for another 7-8 minutes.

Heat the vegetable stock. Pour this stock in a bowl over the couscous and let the couscous heat for about 5 minutes.

Meanwhile, roast the sesame seeds in a dry, hot frying pan until light brown. Sprinkle the chicken stew with the toasted sesame seed and serve with the couscous.
