Chicken with bean sprouts in sweet and sour sauce


Stir fried chicken with onion, bean sprouts and sweet and sour sauce, served with rice and cucumber salad.

Directions

  1. Boil the rice according to the instructions on the package. Dab the chicken fillet dry with kitchen paper and cut into strips. Heat the oil in a stir frying pan the chicken breast in 5 min. Golden brown.
  2. Cut the onion into wedges. Add the onion and stir-fry 3 minutes. Add the sweet and sour sauce, bring to the boil while stirring and cook for 5 minutes on low heat. Add the bean sprouts to the sauce and warm for 1 more minute.
  3. Cut the cucumber into strips and the spring onion in small rings. Mix the cucumber and the spring onion with a little salt. Drain the rice. Serve the chicken in sweet and sour sauce with the rice and the cucumber salad.
