Chickpea Salad


A tasty recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: olive oil, spinach (300 g), red onions (in thin rings), caraway seed, chickpeas (400 g), grated beetroot (400 g) and lemon (squeezed).

Directions

  1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a stir frying pan the spinach 1 1/2 min. Put the spinach in a sieve and drain.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in the same stir fry the onion with the caraway seed for 3 min. Meanwhile, rinse the chickpeas in a sieve and let them drain. Put the chickpeas on the onion and cook for 3 minutes. Remove the wok from the heat, let it cool down.
  3. Mix all the ingredients with the beetroot and season with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Drizzle with 2 tbsp oil. Delicious with pita bread stuffed with falafel balls.
