Chickpea curry


A nice Indian recipe. The vegetarian main course contains the following ingredients: oil, bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, onions (chopped), garlic (pressed), fresh ginger root (grated), ground cumin (djinten), whole yogurt, tomatoes (in strips), chickpeas ((a 400 g), drained), lemon juice, fresh coriander ((15 g) and coarsely chopped).

Directions

  1. Heat oil, fryer and cinnamon in frying pan 30 sec.
  2. bake so that odor is released.
  3. Add onion and fry for 3 minutes.
  4. Rub garlic, ginger and 1/2 tbsp for 1 min.
  5. Prepare spoon for spoonful of yogurt with onion mixture, add the next spoon of yogurt as the previous one has been added.
  6. Stir in tomatoes, chickpeas, lemon juice and 200 ml of water.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Chick peas for 10 minutes on warm fire.
  9. Remove cinnamon and bay leaf.
  10. In a dry frying pan roast remaining cumin until it starts to smell.
  11. Just before serving, sprinkle chickpeas with cumin and coriander.
  12. Tasty with spinach and Indian cheese..
