Directions

  1. Heat the olive oil and fry the garlic and onion. Put the bacon cubes through and fry for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add the tomato cubes with juice, salt and freshly ground pepper and cook gently for about 2 minutes.
  3. Stir in the chickpeas and heat without cooking.
  4. Serve the dish on deep plates and sprinkle with the parsley. Tasty with (brown) baguette and a tomato salad.
